Course Description
Join us at the Protocol Implementation Summit 2.0, hosted by the Washington DC Regional Planning Commission on Health and HIV (COHAH) and the Mid-Atlantic AIDS Education Training Center (MAAETC) Howard University-Regional Partner, where stakeholders, service providers, policymakers, and community advocates converge to advance the continuum of HIV services in the Washington, DC Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA). This summit marks a pivotal moment in fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve the goals of Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE).
Learning Objectives
- Enhance Collaboration: Engage in discussions aimed at fostering collaboration and coordination across diverse HIV services, placing a specific emphasis on engaging Black women at every stage of prevention, testing, and care. Together, we aim to improve the continuum of services and drive progress toward EHE goals.
- Share Stories: Explore best practices from service providers across the EMA. Learn from their experiences and gain insights into effective strategies for advancing HIV prevention and care.
- Innovative Approaches to Promote Inclusivity: Delve into innovative approaches to reduce stigma and discrimination associated with accessing PrEP and HIV-related services. Promote inclusivity within healthcare systems across the EMA, ensuring equitable access for all individuals.
Join us to help drive meaningful change and collectively advance EHE goals in the region.
