Webinar Title: Public Health Impacts of the Opioid Epidemic: Vulnerability to Blood Borne Infections and Overdose Death
The purpose of this webinar is to enable participants to increase their knowledge about the public health impacts of the opioid epidemic and associated vulnerabilities to infectious disease such as hepatitis C. This webinar will specifically analyze data from the state of Pennsylvania.
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to,
- Discuss the background of this assessment
- Explain the results from the Pennsylvania assessment
- Describe the future indications and next steps for Pennsylvania and beyond
