This one-hour program is targeted to First Responders in West Virginia.  The goal is to provide an understanding of HIV and HCV transmission, correct use of protective equipment and how stigma can impact care.

Objectives:

• Describe the epidemiology of HIV in WV
• Explain HIV and HCV transmission
• Discuss protective measures and prevention
• Discuss stigma and impact on care
• List ways to reduce stigma
