The MAAETC, STD/HIV Prevention and Training Center, and the Central East Addiction Technology Transfer Center (CEATTC) are hosting an in-person event at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry, PA. The topics of discussion include syndemics, advice & best practice communication skills, harm reduction, STI, HCV screening and integrating in primary and HIV care, substance use disorder screening & introduction to intervention, mental health screening for suicide & introduction into intervention.

Healthcare workers working in the fields of HIV, HCV, STIs, harm reduction, mental health and substance use disorder.

Accreditation
In order to receive a certificate of attendance or continuing education, all required evaluations must be completed in a timely manner.
Nursing: The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association Approver Unit an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This event is eligible for 6.0 credit hours.
Certificate of Attendance
Continuing Education credits issued for participation in CE activity may not apply toward license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of their state licensing board(s).
Social work credit is available due to a partnership with the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work.
NAADAC credit (for addiction professionals) will also be available due to our partnership with the Central East Addiction Technology Transfer Center.
