The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center, University of Pittsburgh Regional Partner along with the collaborating partners listed below are hosting a Conference focused on Aging and HIV.  The topics of discussion include long-term care, trauma informed care, assessing using the 5 M's, communication, co-morbidities and sexual health screening.  This conference will also feature a panel of long-term thrivers that will share their experiences and journey with participants.

In order to receive a certificate of attendance or continuing education, all required evaluations must be completed in a timely manner.

Social Work

This program is offered for 7.0 CE hours of social work continuing education through co-sponsorship of the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work, a Council on Social Work Education accredited school and therefore a PA pre-approved provider of social work continuing education. Nursing

The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association Approver Unit an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This event is eligible for 7.0 credit hours.

Certificate of Attendance

Continuing Education credits issued for participation in CE activity may not apply toward license renewal in all states.  It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of their state licensing board(s).
