Learning Objectives
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
- Define cultural humility versus cultural competence.
- Delineate aspects of cultural humility that impact patient care for those with and at risk for HIV.
- Describe what is meant by viewing cultural humility through a “trauma-informed lens.”
- Discuss how cultural bias can affect decision making by patients, staff, and the healthcare team.

This event is eligible for 1.0 credit hours.
Certificate of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance and continuing education certificates will be sent out via email 4-6 weeks after the event has completed.
Continuing Education credits issued for participation in CE activity may not apply toward license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of their state licensing board(s).
