This event is part of the Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) Series, "Unity in Diversity: Engaging Minorities in HIV Care and Prevention."

This upcoming virtual spring series will provide exclusive training sessions on effectively engaging minority communities in HIV care, treatment, and prevention. In partnership with Historically Black Colleges/Universities (HBCUs), this series will cover a broad range of topics related to the Minority AIDS Initiative's goal of improving access to HIV care and health outcomes for racial and ethnic minority populations who are disproportionately affected by HIV.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- Identify and discuss barriers to access to PrEP for Black women at risk for HIV.
- Discuss approaches to engagement of Black women in use of PrEP for prevention.
- Identify changes in health care systems, clinics, and programs needed to increase access to PrEP for Black women.
