HIV Prevention Series and Case Discussion
August Topic: HIV Epidemiology and Introduction to Prevention Strategies
As cases of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) continue to increase in West Virginia, it is more important than ever to discuss HIV prevention and care. The HIV Prevention ECHO will bring together case studies related to HIV prevention as well as address HIV-related health topics. Each session includes a case study for review and discussion followed by an expert presentation on a topic related to HIV prevention, such as Pre-exposure prophylaxis and Undetectable=Untransmittable.
