Increasing Screening for Infectious Disease in Opioid Treatment Programs: Opportunities for Implementation of Screening and Treatment Collaboration - Webinar 1.
Brought to you by the Danya Institute - Cental East Addiction Technology Transfer Center and the MidAtlantic AETC, this webinar will provide an overview of the need for implementation of screening and treatment collaboration in Opioid Treatment Programs and other adjacent programs. The goals of the series are as follows: to enhance and increase screening of infectious disease in Opioid Treatment Programs and to increase collaboration among STI/HIV/HCV Clinics, Substance Use Treatment Providers, Family Planning Clinics, and more.
Program Objectives: By the end of the webinar, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the national statistics of OTPs and status of Viral Hepatitis and HIV services offered
- Describe AATOD’s role in supporting change
- Define the role of OTPs in supporting change
- Discuss process of adding Viral Hepatitis and HIV services through OTPs
