PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) Toolkit Part 1: PrEP Basics
By the end of this session, the learner will be able to:
- Understand indications for starting HIV PrEP
- Learn and be able to discuss risks and benefits of oral PrEP
- Review clinical requirements for initiation of oral PrEP
- Discuss issues of stigma as it relates to HIV prevention
This training session will be Part 1 of 2 sessions. The second training session will be held on Wednesday, November 30th from 12:00pm - 1:00pm and is titled PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) toolkit Part 2: 2022 guidelines.
