The presenters will discuss strategies and best practices for implementing PrEP into Primary Care.
Objectives
By the end of the presentation, participants should be able to:
- Identify and proactively address barriers to implementing PrEP care, including stigma and bias
- Discuss key clinical components of providing PrEP, including best practices in assessing HIV risk, initial and ongoing clinical monitoring, and supporting PrEP adherence and persistence
- Describe key updates in the new PrEP guidelines and their clinical practice implications
