Description

A review of breastfeeding risks and benefits in women/people with HIV.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 1. Compare and contrast the US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines for infant feeding in the context of HIV. 2. Describe the essential elements of patient counseling about infant feeding and HIV.

Intended Audience

The program will be open to all members of the obstetric health care team.
