Join us at the Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center for the 2024 Virginia Ryan White Quality Management Summit! Note: This event is created and led by the organizations listed below, this is not a program of the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center.
The Virginia Department of Health in collaboration with the VCU HIV Education program will hold the annual Virginia Ryan White Quality Management Summit. This year's theme is:
Charting Our Course in Quality Management: Bridging Innovation, Expertise, and Community Collaboration
The summit is designed to build capacity among Ryan White Providers (Part A, B, C, D, and F) and consumers to conduct quality improvement activities and enlarge the pool of Quality Improvement trainees statewide.
Plenary Sessions will include:
- Sexually Transmitted Disease Management
- HIV and Aging
- Vicarious Trauma and Workplace Grief
Breakout Session Topics include:
- Medication Access Transition for Uninsured Clients
- Implementing Consumer Feedback
- Addiction and Recovery
- Quality Management 101
- VACAC Outreach

The summit will be held at the Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center, 1000 Virginia Center Parkway Glen Allen, VA 23059. Attendees coming from more than 25 miles away may request a hotel room to be provided at no cost.
NOTE: Space is limited and rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis so register early. The deadline to request a hotel room is September 30, 2024. Please note that registration submission and hotel room request does not guarantee event attendance. Hotel confirmations will be sent out in October.

Accreditation:
In support of improving patient care, VCU Health Continuing Education is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Note: This program is only funded to provide CEUs for Nurses or Social Workers directly funded by Ryan White or HOPWA programs.
Medicine: VCU Health Continuing Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nursing: VCU Health Continuing Education designates this activity for a maximum of 6.5 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Social Work: As a Jointly Accredited Organization, VCU Health Continuing Education is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 6.5 continuing education credits.
