Information was provided on the PA LInks program and the recruitment and interview flyers for clients. Enhanced Parenting and anger management programs, supported by the DHS Parenting Collaboration, were discussed and a flyer was shared. The potential issue of eye muscle development (strabismus and nystagmus) in association with maternal substance use was raised. Although the medical personnel in attendance were not aware of this concern, there is some literature to support the association. All agreed that it is likely too early to raise alarms. Because many infants have been exposed to multiple substances, it is also difficut to determine what impact a given substance has. Programmatic updates were shared with the group.
