Brooke Darmstadter consulted Dr. Beshara Helou regarding a drug interaction between Dovato and iron supplement that was prescribed by Dr Helou (PMD) to be taken three times daily. I requested that they consider once daily dosing of the iron supplement to minimize the interaction with Dovato. Dr Helou stated that once daily dosing of iron was ok at this time, so client will take iron in the evening and her Dovato in the morning, which is a safe way to manage this drug interaction.
