This training will highlight key considerations when prescribing HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) in a clinical setting. 

Learning objectives:

• Identify individuals who may benefit from PrEP using the status neutral approach. 
• Understand how to counsel patients about PrEP, evaluate their suitability, and monitor their progress while on PrEP.
• Discuss CDC’s recommended PrEP regimens, including dosing, safety, testing, initiation, follow-up assessments, and side effects.
