This program is open to all case manager supervisors who provide services to persons living with HIV under Ryan White Care Act Parts A & State Rebate in the Philadelphia Eligible Metropolitan Area.

This program is designed to: 

Define the concepts/approaches of de-escalation and co-regulation as they relate to the MCM-client partnership.

Describe and assess situations/circumstances which are potentially active and escalate intense and overwhelming emotions in people they serve. 

Demonstrate de-escalation, diffusing, grounding, calming and co-regulation approaches MCMs can practice with clients who are activated and emotionally de-regulated.
