Summary:
Discussed on this webinar will be an overview of currently available long-acting
antiretroviral options for HIV prevention and treatment for youth. This includes a review of
indications, access, dosing, administration technique and other practical considerations
working with this category of antiretrovirals. Shared will be perspectives from a nurse
(Lauren Braskich and Kierra McCallum), clinical pharmacist (Susan Carr) and physician
(Aditya Gaur) standpoint. Attendees are encouraged to share their own experiences and
lessons learned providing long-acting antiretrovirals during the webinar.
