Objectives:
1. Describe the current HIV epidemiological and behavioral risk trends for immigrants with or at risk for HIV.
2. Review approaches used to integrate tenets of cultural competency into programming, practices, and policy.
3. Identify common challenges experienced by immigrant clients in engaging in HIV prevention, screening, and treatment services and how to combat them.
4. Describe methods to incorporate social and cultural understandings into HIV prevention, screening, and linkage to care strategies.
