The purpose of this webinar is to enable participants to increase their knowledge of harm reduction and how it can be utilized to prevent HIV infections among people who inject drugs (PWID)**.
** Important note - in the time that this webinar was recorded, person first language was not as commonly used. People Who Inject Drugs is now the best way and uses person first language. (2020 and 2021 update)
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Describe strategies for utilizing harm reduction to prevent HIV infections among injection drug users (IDUs)
- Discuss best practices for implementing harm reduction for IDUs
