LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Identify barriers and limitations that first responders encounter when providing care and support for persons with HIV and substance use disorder who reside in rural communities.
- Discuss the prevalence, risk factors, and specific issues related to HIV and substance use in rural areas, including the impact of social determinants of health.
- Identify strategies to address barriers and gaps in services and resources, including telehealth, mobile clinics, and community-based initiatives.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the post-training evaluation.
