Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, the learner will be able to:
Discuss key considerations for inpatient clinical management of people with HIV.
Discuss key components in medical assessment of a person newly diagnosed with HIV in an inpatient setting.
Examine current guidelines for ART in naïve patients and discuss important drug-drug interactions with ARVs in hospital settings.
Discuss importance of discharge planning.
Discuss when to refer or obtain consultation from MAAETC Clinicians or the National Clinician Consultation Center (NCCC).
